“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a like of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there o no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun”

Bodyboarding a no go.
Today looking through the shed i came across an old body board my dad had. As i used to body board almost every week end up until a few years back, i realised how much i missed it. I stopped because i had an accident which took me a while to recover.
A sunday morning during winter at Trigg my brother and i were out, as i caught a wave and not paying attention another one came over me, and i got dumped slamming in to rocks. I hit the rocks face first, dislocating my jaw, and bleeding from various places of my face and top of my head. So you don't really need to know the rest of story, but anyway, what i'm getting at is, i have a fear of bodyboarding now which sucks heaps.
